MORRISTOWN (WATE) – A lottery player in Morristown won a cool $1,000,000 playing an instant game.
Kym Gerlock, Director of Communications with the Tennessee Lottery said Tuesday that the player won playing the Millionaire 7s game, which is valued at $25. Gerlock also said they had a $144.1 million Powerball Jackpot ticket sold in Antioch, in Middle Tennessee.
Since January 20, 2004, the Lottery has raised more than $3.5 billion for designated education programs to fund college grants and scholarships, a variety of after-school programs and the new Tennessee Promise initiative.
